New services in Bristol

Keeping you not just healthy, but well

Your care at Wheeler doesn’t stop at the exam room. We help you connect with services outside of Wheeler, and we take the time to understand the things in your life—like housing, food, transportation, or work—that affect your health. Together, we’ll make a plan to support every part of your well-being.

Our Community Health Workers are here to help you find the services and resources you need—right in your neighborhood. Thanks to support from the Mott Corporation, we can connect you with programs for housing, food, transportation, benefits, and more. You're not alone—we're here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

If you're going through a tough time, Wheeler’s Basic Needs Fund may be able to help with essentials like clothing so you can work, food, transportation, and more—thanks to the generosity of our donors. When life gets hard, you're not alone. We’re here to support you with the basics so you can focus on your health and healing.

Weekly during the growing season, and occasionally during winter, Wheeler patients can receive fresh, healthy produce through the Holcomb Farm Fresh Access Program—made possible by the generosity of Wheeler’s donors and the Connecticut Department of Agriculture. It’s just one more way we’re here to help you nourish your body and support your health.

We can fill all medications (not just behavioral health) and for your whole family! Genoa can even mail all medications (at no extra cost) or you can pick them up curbside. As a benefit, Genoa even organizes your pills based on the date and time you need to take them, making it easy to stay on track. Switch to a better pharmacy today!
