Comprehensive care for depression and anxiety
We offer individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychiatric care, for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression or anxiety.
Medication-free treatment
State-of-the art, highly effective treatment for depression from NeuroStar®
This medication-free therapy uses magnetic fields to activate regions in the brain which have decreased activity in patients with depression and anxiety. It is also extremely effective for patients with anxiety disorders including OCD, has almost no contraindications, and requires no medication.
Specially designed treatment suites
Find relief with Spravato®
Spravato® (esketamine) is the first prescription nasal spray, taken with or without an oral antidepressant*. It is available at Wheeler, and we have specially designed suites in Hartford and Waterbury devoted specifically for patients receiving Spravato®.
Referrals for this treatment are now being accepted from external psychiatric and medical providers. For referral forms and more information, please call us.
* NOTE: The use of an oral antidepressant is still required for patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) who have acute suicidal thoughts or actions.
