Pregnant, Parenting, or Reunifying?
We Can Help
Supportive care for moms navigating recovery and parenting.
Meeting Women Where They Are
Programs Offering Hope and Support for Recovery
Two vital programs for navigating substance use recovery: REACH and PROUD offers flexible, client-led support tailored to each person's unique needs, whether that means peer support, practical help, or clinical treatment.
Early Support for Recovery
Available to support women and families during the earliest and often most uncertain stages of recovery. This short-term, non-clinical program provides peer support from people who’ve been there, offering understanding, encouragement, and guidance as you begin your healing journey.
Real-Life Support
For up to 90 days, REACH offers hands-on assistance to meet everyday needs like rides to AA meetings, help with groceries, childcare essentials, and more. It’s support that meets you where you are, so you can focus on healing and moving forward.
Guidance That Goes Where You Go
The REACH Navigator partners closely with each client, offering flexible, mobile support wherever it's needed at home, in the community, or on the go. Their goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you navigate the early stages of recovery with confidence.
What is PROUD?
The PROUD program serves pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders residing in the areas of Connecticut outlined below. PROUD services are individualized, person-centered, and strength-based, and can be offered in-office, in-home, or via telehealth.
Holistic Support for Pregnant & Parenting Women in Recovery
PROUD teams provide holistic, trauma-informed and gender sensitive services to pregnant and parenting women as they navigate their recovery journey. PROUD teams will work to complete a family needs assessment with eligible women and their household members to create a plan to address individual and family needs around: substance use and mental health treatment, connections to medical providers (including prenatal care), MOUD/MAT, employment, housing, and recovery support.
Designed for Women with Complex Needs
Designed for women facing greater risk factors and more complex treatment needs.
Care Without a Time Limit
Clinical group therapy, flexible walk-in intake, and ongoing support with no set end date. This allows the team to meet women wherever they are: emotionally, physically, and psychologically, and stay with them for as long as they need.
A Strong, Local Network for Long-Term Recovery
Serving the New Britain and Hartford regions, PROUD is powered by two dedicated teams of compassionate professionals. This robust support system helps women access the long-term care and connection they need to thrive in recovery.
