PointCare is a free service that helps you apply for, keep, or regain their health insurance coverage. Working with Wheeler Health, PointCare provides easy online tools and personalized support to help you with Medicaid renewals, Medicaid lapse recovery, insurance applications, and coverage requirements. You can receive reminders, upload documents, and get assistance throughout the process to help avoid gaps in coverage.
Who Can Benefit from PointCare Services?
- Your Medicaid coverage has recently ended or lapsed
- You are at risk of losing Medicaid coverage
- Additional information is needed to maintain your benefits
- You need help completing Medicaid-related paperwork.
Getting Started with PointCare
PointCare will contact you by phone or text inviting you to create an account. A PointCare representative will explain the process and help guide you through the application process. PointCare offers a patient friendly web application that can be accessed from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
A Guided Path to Maintaining Coverage
PointCare will:
- Review your situation and eligibility status.
- Explain any actions that may be needed.
- Help identify required documents.
- Provide updates throughout the process.
- Work with you until your case is resolved whenever possible.
What You'll Need to Get Started
Required documents vary by situation but may include:
