Comprehensive Services for Employers and Employees
We help to make a manager’s job less stressful by offering consultation on employee and workplace issues by providing unlimited support, consultation and assistance with workplace challenges such as: job performance issues; substance use problems; workplace violence; organizational change, crisis intervention, and more.
Affordable, effective training programs enrich management, empower employees, and offer organizations the opportunity to hone their competitive edge. Some of our more popular programs include diversity in the workplace; sexual harassment prevention; stress management; and critical incident response services.
Wheeler EAP critical incident response services are tailored to the help the managers and employees understand the emotional impact of a traumatic event and return to normal, as quickly as possible. Our trained professionals are available to provide timely management consultation and onsite support following an accident, robbery, sudden death, workplace violence, or natural disaster. Licensed mental health professionals will visit the workplace and facilitate group and individual meetings to support employees and families’ need to talk about what happened; review the grief process; enhance coping skills; utilize EAP services.
Our network of qualified Substance Abuse Professionals provide Department of Transportation (DOT) substance abuse assessments for employees in safety-sensitive positions and for those covered under Federal Regulations, Part 40. Services include face-to-face assessments; case management, including communication with the medical review officer and designated employer representative; and provision of return-to-duty testing schedules.
