The Wheeler EAP is an employer sponsored benefit that offers confidential counseling services to employees and members of their household at no cost to the individual. Our goal is to help you overcome obstacles that may interfere with your job, health, or general well-being. Licensed mental health professionals are available to help you and members of your household with concerns such as major life events; balancing work and home; substance use disorders; life changes and transitions; mental health disorders; and grief and loss.
When you call the EAP, we will let you know how many EAP sessions are provided under your employer’s plan and help you schedule an appointment with a professional counselor. During the EAP counseling sessions, a plan of action will be developed which may include additional sessions with the counselor. If you are referred to a treatment resource beyond the EAP counseling, there generally will be costs involved. Some of these costs may be covered by your medical insurance plan.
Work-Life Services is an online platform that provides employees and members of their household with personalized solutions to their challenges, as well as informational resources, referrals for child and elder care, and more. Educational resources, include but are not limited to: personalized coaching resources; interactive training courses, wellness assessments, and more. Companies that contract with Wheeler for Work-Life Services are invited to access additional online resources, which include but are not limited to legal and financial issues such as family and domestic matters; estate planning, civil matters and other areas.
