A free, family-focused event, Maternal Beginnings: Family Wellness Day, will take place on September 11 from 2 to 5 pm at Community Health Center, 675 Main Street, Middletown, CT. This event is open to all birthing individuals, new parents, and their families from across Connecticut.
Participants are required to register for the event, and attendance is limited to 130 participants.

The event will include an array of information and resources from community providers and partners, ranging from car seat safety, to safe sleep education, maternal mental health, and much more. There will be giveaways, welcome gift bags, door prizes, a car seat safety clinic, and other helpful resources to keep babies and caregivers thriving. The event is presented by SEPI-CT, the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, and Community Health Center, Inc.
